Where we work

One peninsula, covered properly.

Clearpoint works Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland and nowhere else. Our crews are an hour from your site, not four.

Why the line is drawn where it is

Stormwater is local in a way that most trades are not. The rules are written by two states and applied by delegated agencies — in this market the Sussex and Kent conservation districts in Delaware, and the counties in Maryland. The reviewers are individuals with preferences. The soils, the water table and the storms are regional. A firm headquartered four hours away can learn that, but it will learn it on your project.

We also take the drive time seriously. A facility on an annual program needs someone who can be there the week something goes wrong, not the month.

Communities we work in

Lewes, Rehoboth, Millsboro, Milton, Georgetown, Long Neck, Ocean View, Bethany and Selbyville on the Delaware side; Worcester, Wicomico and Dorchester counties in Maryland, with Talbot and Caroline by arrangement.

Watersheds

The Inland Bays — Rehoboth, Indian River and Little Assawoman — run to roughly 300 square miles with low flushing rates, which concentrates whatever reaches them. Nutrient reduction targets there run to about 40% for nitrogen and phosphorus, and 85% for nitrogen in the upper Indian River watershed. On the Chesapeake side we work the Nanticoke, the largest Delmarva tributary to the Bay, along with Broad Creek and the Marshyhope. The Delaware Bay tidal marshes sit along the northern edge of the territory.

Outside the line

Ask anyway. We take work beyond these counties when the schedule allows, and we would rather tell you no quickly than not answer.
